- We finish forged or cast Crankshafts; for 1, 4, 6, and 8 cylinder engines. We REM finish crankshafts to reduce windage in the oil, so it is easily thrown off the crank. We do not touch the journals or sealing surfaces so we do not alter any clearances.
- Steel connecting rods. After machining of the rods is the time to send them to us to finish. This reduces drag in the oil and reduces/eliminates stress risers.
- Complete valvetrain; we do cams, steel rockers, and valve springs. This reduces break in woes with flat tappit cams and reduces oil temperatures by cutting friction.
